City Manager, John Wilmet, of the city of Fort Atkinson, WI, has joined the effort to recognize January as Human Trafficking Awareness And Prevention month. In history, human trafficking was known as slavery but today, many youngsters are inducted into this illegal practice, unaware of the physical and mental damage. The public needs to adopt an awareness through education and take measures to prevent this inhumane treatment of children.
